We're really excited to announce that our new baby, The Ginistry Bar is coming very, very soon! Our cool, but super relaxed gin joint will be located at 90 Station Road East in Oxted, right opposite the station and taxi rank - we literally could not have planned it better!
While we've loved touring the country in our faithful Mathis over the last couple of years, serving up our Gin concoctions to wedding guests, festival goers and corporate clients, we decided that we also needed to find ourselves a permanent home from which to base ourselves at between tours!
We heard about a place in gin-loving Oxted, Surrey - a hop and a skip from London. This small, but perfectly formed space is ideal for us to house our gins, act as The Ginistry HQ and to practise our gin mixology...
We've curated a huge and eclectic collection of gins - from the international brands to lesser known (but equally fantastic) locally distilled craft gins, and we're aiming to introduce every single one of them to our new customers. By the end of the year we expect you all to be proper gin experts!
We're not about serving your bog standard G&T - although there's nothing wrong with a great gin and tonic with ice and a slice of lemon...We are about experimentation, innovation, fun and finding new flavours - helping you find your very own personal combination.
Our gins are served with a host of different flavours and garnishes - fresh fruits, spices, vegetables - either chosen from a pre-set selection or hand-picked from our list of unique recommendations to make your own personal perfect G&T...Ginger, Mint, Mango, Raspberries and Cucumber are just a small selection of some of the choices we often offer!
As for the mixers, well, we'll be honest, we're total tonic snobs and only use premium tonics in all of our drinks. We have a range of regular favourites, but from time to time we'll also introduce other guest tonics, together with some interesting juices.
Aside from your daily dose of gin, we'll be teaming up with local distillers and food producers to host events, tastings, street food nights and much more besides... For those of you who don't like gin (weirdos) we've also got a great selection of beers, wine and soft drinks. We even do fantastic coffees - with or without gin ;)
So - on that coffee note, it's back to the grind. We've still got loads to do before we're ready to open.
Keep your eyes peeled to our social media for information on opening day...
Andrew and David, The Ginistry Boys.
